Asian Motorcycle Adventures

For my first time riding on a completely different continent, I chose to join Reed on the two week Golden Triangle tour of northern Thailand.
It’s a decision I’m proud to have made and although sadness hits upon having to leave behind this experience, the journey and the ride is one I’ll always remember.
This tour took in sections of the famous Mae Hong Son Loop as well as covering the borders of Burma and Laos.
With Reed’s guidance and the presence of a support vehicle all the worries of riding in a foreign country were eased so that I could enjoy the scenery, culture, different foods on offer and more importantly the ride itself (which varies across the range of landscapes you’ll see).
That knowledge of an area, knowing the locations to visit is invaluable for a venture into new lands and serves to make the trip all the more enjoyable.
If you’re keen enough about the tours to read this and other articles, this adventure is a big tick off your list of things to do, and honestly it’s inspired me to try more.
