The most notorious section on Japan’s Death Railway was Hellfire Pass. This was the place where thousands of Australian, Commonwealth and allied prisoners of war were forced under the most inhumane conditions imaginable to gouge a cutting through solid rock mainly using hand tools.

The major events for this tour is to attend the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at Hellfire Pass, visit the war Museums, the infamous bridge over the river Kwai and the Morning Service at the war cemetery in Kanchanaburi on the 24th and 25th of April 2018

On Anzac Day 2016 and 2017 we were fortunate to be in the company of 2 survivors of the ordeal that was the death Railway Mr Harrold Martin, aged 100. and Mr Neil McPherson, aged 92. it was an indescribable to actually meet these two Veterans and thank them for their service.

Departing Kanchanaburi on the 26th of April the tour will travel up the central western side of Thailand and make our way to Chiang Mai on some spectacular bike roads over the next 6 days .

Our final day’s ride is over a section of Thailand’s most famous biking road, the Mae Hong Son Loop one of the worlds premier motorbike rides

BMWF800GS for larger riders who have pillion passengers available at a small surcharge
All motorcycles are company owned and in excellent mechanical condition
Many other bikes are available and can be arranged if you have a particular requirement at extra cost as these will need to be hired in.
What is Included in this tour
This motorcycle tour is first-class all the way and all-inclusive. Lodgings are included the night before the tour begins and for our arrival night in Chiang Mai.
Also included: petrol, all meals, and entrance fees. In fact the only things you have to pay for yourself are alcoholic beverages and items of a personal nature. If you wish to spend some time in Bangkok before or in Chiang Mai after the tour is completed we can arrange accommodation and include it in the bill.
A fully equipped support truck will carry all your luggage so you can travel on your bike light and unencumbered.
This tour is open to intermediate and experienced bikers. If you are not sure if you are experienced enough please contact us on the link below and we can discuss it. This will not be a very difficult ride but the roads will become very tight and the weather will be quite warm( high 30s) and very dry but our route and rest stops will take that into consideration.
Price for this 9-night, 8-day, 1,700 kilometre tour is AUD 3499.00 per Rider. Pillions: AUD 2080.oo.This price includes the VAT (or, for Australians, GST of 7%)

- Day 1 23 April Bangkok to Kanchanaburi 230 Km visit the Bridge over the river Kwai
- Day 2 24 April Visit the War cemetery and museum Kanchanaburi. Visit the Honda Motorcycle Museum
- Day 3 Early morning start ride out to Hellfire Pass (About 70 Km) participate in the Dawn Service
- Day 4 Kanchanaburi to Sinakharin Dam resort 210 Km
- Day 5 Sinikharim Dam to Khampaeng Pet 385 Km
- Day 6 Khampaeng Pet to Mae Sot Short ride today 146 Km
- Day 7 Mae Sot to Mae Sariang Through some spectacular countryside following the Myanmar border 230 Km
- Day 8 30 April Mae Sariang to Chiang Mai Via Doi Inthernon (Highest point in Thailand) 264 Km
