The "dreaded" paperwork section.
To sign up for a tour, please follow carefully the tour application directions below.
These paperwork and banking procedures are more complicated to explain
than to actually do. But if you follow steps 1)
thru 6) carefully,
your application will go through smoothly and efficiently.
1)-
TO MAKE RESERVATIONS: SELECT YOUR TOUR.
Your first decision, obviously, is to choose the motorcycle tour you want
to go on. The chart below, once again, lists all of our motorcycle tours,
prices, and dates. So on the chart below, determine which tour(s) you
want to participate on.
* special
insurance & damage deposit plan.
The price you must remit to A.M.A is the driver price, plus the pillion price if you are bringing along a pillion passenger, minus or plus any discounts or sucharges that apply to you from the list below. The figure you will then arrive at is the total cost of your tour.
(As for the motorcycle damage deposit, you may remit this money along with your payment or give it to us {in cash only, no travelers checks or credit cards} when you arrive for your tour.)
DISCOUNTS & SURCHARGES * If you pay your total trip price more than 6 months in advance, AMA will give you a 10% discount. *
Your 2nd AMA tour price is reduced 15% Your 3rd AMA tour price
is reduced 20%. * After the finish of a trip, leave us a US$300 deposit for your next year's AMA tour, and a 10% discount is yours.
Pillion
riders are considered to be sharing a room with their driver. If a pillion
rider wants a separate room, the pillion rider must pay an additional US$350. 3)-
FILL
OUT AN APPLICATION FORM A)-
Fill out an on-line application
form. There will be two of them; one for drivers
and one for pillions. Please fill out the correct one. If you have trouble with the on-line application form there is also a printable version you can fill out by hand. Then you can either email a scan of it, fax, or mail it to our office in Thailand. (fax #: {66-53} 811-390).
a. Copy of: Your country of residence unexpired, unrestricted
motorcycle license.
A)- DEPOSITS When you are ready to sign up for one of our tours, we need 2 things from you: all of the documents mentioned in the above section, and a deposit.
Your application will not be considered unless it is accompanied with a deposit or full payment and with all the above requested documents.
AMA requires a deposit of USD300., per person, per tour.
B)- FINAL PAYMENT and/or FULL PAYMENT The balance of your chosen tour must be paid in full, 60 days prior to your tour's departure.
If you sign up less than 60 days prior to departure, your initial payment must be in full and AMA must receive all the requested documents before we can give you a guaranteed confirmation.
The cash deposit on the motorcycles can be paid in two ways: 1)- You can send us the motorcycle damage deposit along with your initial deposit or final payment, or.... 2)-
You can give us your motorcycle deposit in cash when you arrive for your
tour. 5)- HOW TO SEND US PAYMENT
Because
of Thailand's archaic banking regulations, we can only accept TT payments
(Telegraphic Transfers). However, we
can accept a certified bank check at the 60-day mark before your tour
begins, as there will then be enough time for the funds to clear. After reading it, there is a hyperlink to print it out. Please sign and date it as requested, and mail it to us along with all the other requested documents.
